Julie Harris

Julie Harris, Music Worship Ministries Director

Julie Harris has been a member of CFCN since 2004. In September of 2009 she began leading worship here, and has been on staff part-time as the Director of Worship Ministries since February of 2010. A native of Virginia Beach, she moved to Charlottesville with her husband of 14 years in 2004. She has a bachelor’s degree in music education from Old Dominion University. Julie has taught piano and voice lessons for the past 8 years, and has also taught music in public schools.
Julie’s lifelong passion for music has been transformed into a passion for Christ and for praise and worship. She currently holds a local minister’s license and is taking classes to pursue ordination in the Nazarene Church.
